We have over 14 different breeds of Egg laying chickens on our farm used to give us the wide variety of egg colors, shapes and sizes you see in your egg cartons. All egg layers are raised on pasture year round and are an part of our pasture rotation system. Eggs are sold by the dozen at our farmers markets only. Over the last few months, we've seen an increase in the number of people wanting to jump into raising livestock and specifically raising chickens. We think this is a mostly good thing- with a few exceptions such as folks not really having any idea about basic animal care, food safety, etc. Additionally, maintaining a high quality of product in this nascent field is important to us.
