It’s Chowtime!

First, there was Cache Creek Meat Co. In 2009 Cache Creek Meat Co started on a small farm outside of Woodland, CA in Yolo County. Raising chicken, turkey, quail, guinea, rabbit, and lamb on pasture as naturally as possible and serving the Sacramento Valley region.

In 2011, Cache Creek Meat Co. moved to a new 25-acre farm near Esparto, CA and named this new location Chowdown Farm. Based in the Capay Valley outside of Woodland, Davis, and Winters, the focus of Chowdown Farm is to "Farm for Flavor". It is host to the Cache Creek Meat Co. meat label as well as Chowdown Farm products from the fields and orchards which can be found at Sacramento area farmers markets, grocery stores, and restaurants. Cache Creek Meat Co. is the distributing member of the Chow Wagon Ranch Direct Delivery program- a Sacramento area meat CSA.
